10 funny ways to tell your friends you’re pregnant

So, you’re pregnant. Congratulations! You’ve waited nine long months (or maybe not so long, if you were lucky enough to conceive quickly) and now you’re finally going to get to meet your little bundle of joy. But first, you have to tell your friends and family the news. Here are ten funny ways to do it:

-Send a group text that just says “I’m pregnant!” and wait for the reactions.

-Post a picture on social media of you holding up a positive pregnancy test with a caption like “Guess what?!”

-Wear a shirt that says “baby on board” or has some other sort of maternity/pregnancy announcement on it.

-Write it in a birthday card or gift to someone else who is expecting.

-Make a fake ultrasound picture and send it to your friends (you can even find some online).

-Turn the announcement into a game of Mad Libs.

-Send a pregnancy test as a party favor at your next get together.

-If you have kids already, have them make the announcement for you (maybe with a sign or by saying it in a video).

-Plant the news in conversation by talking about how much you’re looking forward to becoming a parent someday, then act surprised when they congratulate you. “Oh my gosh, I’m pregnant?!” Make sure you overact for full effect. -Finally, you could just come out and say it plainly, but make a joke about how long it took you to figure it out or how you’re still in shock.

Whichever way you choose to break the news, just remember that your friends and family will be happy for you no matter what. Congratulations on your new addition!

-If you want to go the traditional route, announce it at a family dinner or gathering.

-Put a bun in the oven…literally. Bake a cake or some cookies with a message like “We’re expecting!”

-Turn it into a guessing game by sending clues about the baby’s due date, weight, or length.

-Get a shirt that says “Baby on board” or “I’m with child” and wear it out in public.

-Make a fake Facebook post about your partner proposing and change the status to “Expecting.”

-Write a letter to your friends and family announcing the news.

-Take out a newspaper ad that says “Coming soon: A new arrival!”

-If you want to be really creative, hire a skywriter to write your announcement in the clouds.

-Or go old school and send out birth announcements in the mail. Whatever you do, just have fun with it! Congratulations on your new arrival! -And last but not least, if you want to keep it simple, just tell them straight out! “I’m pregnant!” Sometimes the direct approach is the best way to go.

Again, congratulations on your new arrival! Wishing you all the best during this exciting time. Enjoy every moment!
